Cultural Exchange, Leadership, and Language Learning Camps for students

At our camps, students engage in dynamic language classes led by experienced instructors, participate in cultural workshops that celebrate global traditions, and enjoy a variety of recreational activities designed to foster camaraderie and mutual understanding. From cooking classes to artistic endeavors, every moment is crafted to enhance students' appreciation of the world's rich cultural tapestry. It is an unforgettable journey where learning goes beyond textbooks and friendships span continents.

Volunteers Training Course

Winter and summer camps are not just a fun time, they are a unique opportunity for IUCA and HTC students to express themselves and develop new skills. Every year we are looking for active and motivated volunteers who are ready to share their knowledge and experience with others.
Two months prior to the camps, students are interviewed and selected as volunteers. Students who are ready to learn new things, who have a good academic record, have basic English and are in their second semester of university and above can become volunteers.
During intensive training, volunteers learn leadership skills, learn to work in a team, improve their communication skills and develop language competencies (English or Chinese). They practice public speaking and time management, learn responsibility, creativity, discipline and multitasking.
At the end of the camp, each volunteer receives a certificate from GEDC, confirming their participation and contribution to the organization of the event.

Workshops

Campers can choose from a variety of engaging workshops. For those who enjoy hands-on activities, options include crafting friendship bracelets, constructing solar cars, or mastering the art of dumpling making. Relaxation and well-being can be found through Tai Chi sessions. Alternatively, campers interested in personal development can delve into workshops on leadership, self-discovery, history, or marriage preparation.

Community Service

Community service is a cornerstone of our camp experience. It might be cleaning up public spaces or spending quality time with the elderly and children. Beyond making a positive impact, it fosters gratitude, empathy, and kindness. Campers learn to think of others. Working together equipps campers with invaluable life skills like resolving conflicts, brainstorming ideas, and overcoming challenges as a team.

Outings

During the summer, we organize a camping trip to the "Arkan Tokoy" rope park located outside of Tokmok. "Arkan Tokoy" offers an exhilarating blend of fun and physical challenge, all within easy reach and adhering to strict international safety standards. This rope park experience is a highlight of our summer camp. Under the watchful eye of experienced instructors, participants have the opportunity to develop physical abilities through obstacle courses, balancing acts, and climbing challenges. Build resilience by learning to stay calm in unexpected situations. Foster teamwork by collaborating to achieve shared goals. Boost self-confidence by conquering fears and reaching new heights. Enjoy the benefits of fresh air and outdoor recreation. Beyond physical exertion, visiting the rope park contributes to the development of essential life skills such as responsibility, perseverance, and determination.
